GFI Gate Valves
GFI Gate Valves are designed for reliable on-off isolation in demanding industrial piping systems. Their full-port flow passage provides minimal pressure loss when the valve is fully open, while the robust gate and seat arrangement provides dependable shut-off performance across a wide range of operating conditions.
Manufactured in cast and forged constructions, GFI Gate Valves are available in multiple pressure classes, sizes, materials, trim combinations and end-connection configurations to meet the requirements of oil & gas, petrochemical, power, water, chemical and general industrial applications.
Key Features
Reliable Isolation
Designed primarily for full open or full closed service, providing dependable pipeline isolation.
Full-Bore Flow Passage
Provides a straight-through flow path with minimal pressure drop when the valve is fully open.
Robust Wedge Design
Solid and flexible wedge configurations provide reliable seating and long-term service performance.
Rising & Non-Rising Stem
Available with OS&Y rising stem or non-rising stem configurations according to installation requirements.
Durable Construction
Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other material combinations for demanding services.
Multiple End Connections
Available with flanged, butt-weld, socket-weld and threaded connections depending on application requirements.
Available Types
Rising Stem Gate Valve (OS&Y)
The stem moves upward as the valve opens, providing a visible indication of the gate position. Suitable for applications where valve position monitoring is important.
Non-Rising Stem Gate Valve
The stem remains within the valve body while operating, providing a compact configuration suitable for installations with limited vertical clearance.
Solid Wedge Gate Valve
A robust and straightforward wedge arrangement designed for general-purpose isolation applications across industrial piping systems.
Flexible Wedge Gate Valve
The flexible wedge accommodates thermal expansion and variations in seating conditions, helping maintain reliable sealing during changing operating conditions.
